Ashby History Comes to Life

The Friends of Ashby-de-la-Zouch Museum has a junior section, known as Junior FOAM.
If you attend any of the events listed here you can join Junior FOAM on the day. It costs £1 for the current year. Membership expires at the end of December. Members get a welcome pack with certificate, bookmark, badge etc. There are also several newsletters sent out throughout the year. Junior FOAM is mainly aimed at 7 - 11 year olds, although we do have a few younger members.

For those of you who took part in the Frog Hunt on July 17th, the total number of frogs was 36.
Bad luck to anyone who didn't get them all and well done to any who did!

Guided Walk - the Darker Side of Ashby

Especially desgined to appeal to the children and led by local historian Ken Hillier. Starts outside the Museum at 6pm. This event is for members of Junior FOAM (Friends of Ashby Museum) only but children can join on the day for only £2 and this will give them full membership of Junior FOAM for the coming year up to September 2011.
