The Museum was given a collection of 32 large ring-binder files, collected by the late Mrs Dorothy Watson from 1952 onwards.
The files contain original photographs, newspaper cuttings, church magazines, brochures, posters, correspondence and articles relating to Staunton Harold Hall,
church and village.
It is an invaluable archive, detailing the history of the Hall as a Leonard Cheshire Home and a Sue Ryder Hospice after its sale by the Ferrers family.
The Museum also has maps and plans plus other documents relating to the Staunton Harold Estate
